The Archaeological Museum of San Miguel de Odrinhas probably had its origin in the mid-sixteenth century. At that time people began to gather around the shrine site, an important collection of Roman inscriptions coming from the camps and surrounding villages. In 1955 and after several centuries of neglect there was built a small home that housed the monuments, still carrying the excavation and recovery of cultural tourism and the adjacent Roman ruins.
Today the lapidary collection reaches over four hundred pieces, which are in addition to many others -many thousands - of different typology, including coins, ceramic, lithic, metal, animal bone, etc. ..
