The Fountain of Outeiro da Maceda, which includes a magnificent monument tile panel depicting the economic activity that marked the course of history to the close ties between the people of Aveiro and Ria de Aveiro, was opened in 2002.This panel is tiled by the artist José Manuel de Oliveira.
