The Museum of the Biscainhos, located in the Parish of the Cathedral, is installed in a remarkable patrimonial set composed by property and garden.

The Museum of the Biscainhos has as a programmatic component the illustration of the experience in the Portuguese noble society, in the context of a seigniorial house of the XVII and XVIII centuries.

The building has interiors of great artistic interest, namely, compartments with parietal tile coverings from the 16th century. XVIII and ceilings with paintings and ornamental treatments.

It presents to the public a sequence of spaces that give a view of the occupations, tastes and traditions of our ancestors of the nobility of the XVII and XVIII centuries, being able to visit the Atrium, the Noble Hall, the Showrooms, Oratory, Music, the Dining Room, the Stables and the Old Kitchens. As an obligatory complement of the visit, the baroque gardens unfold in a show of artistic and environmental beauty, defining the formal garden and the old orchard and vegetable garden.

Visit the Church of Pópulo - Sé (Braga)

The Church of Pópulo is located in the parish of Sé. The invocation comes from the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo in Rome and the image-icon that is venerated there. The temple was begun in 1596 by initiative of the then archbishop of Braga, D. Frei Agostinho de Jesus. The construction of the whole ensemble dragged from the sixteenth century to the nineteenth century.

Great part of the building) was reconstructed at the end of century XVIII with project of author Carlos Amarante.

Currently, the premises of the convent are one of the buildings of the Municipality of Braga. Guided tours are promoted, especially for appreciation of tile flooring.

Visit the Church of São Vicente (Braga)

The Church of São Vicente, located in the parish of São Vicente, was rebuilt in the mid-sixteenth century from a primitive temple.

Its bell tower, located behind the main chapel (the typical architecture of the Baroque Bracarense), was the tallest building in the city, and therefore suffered electric lightning strikes. Twice the tower had to be rebuilt, the last time in 1812.

It's a baroque church. The façade has Mannerist elements. Above the frontage it has the image of the patron saint, S. Vicente, nestled in a niche.

To crown the façade is a papal cross that recalls the privileges and indulgences that Pope Clement VIII granted to this church around the year 1598 in the time of Archbishop Augustine de Jesus.

Inside, the choir, attributed to Carlos Amarante, the organ, built by the master organist Francisco António Solha in 1769, is the highlight of the tile panels, dated 1873, produced by the Devesas Ceramic Factory.

This Church is classified as Property of Public Interest.

The Church of São João do Souto is located in the parish of São João do Souto and was built at the end of the 18th century and replaced the original church of the twelfth century.

The current church was built by order of Archbishop D. Gaspar de Bragança and is linked to the Coimbra Chapel.

The chapel has the shape of a quadrangular tower, divided into two distinct spaces

Galilee, with Manueline ornaments and statuary by Hodart; the interior part, authored by João de Rouão, has the traditional high altar and the arms of D. João de Coimbra.

The chapel is covered by a vault of ribs, and the walls have pictures, in tiles, alluding to Genesis.

The Church of São Francisco, located in the Parish of São João do Souto, was built in 1690.

In this baroque church, the image of Our Lady of the Conception can be seen on the facade, and the chapel, lined with panels of tiles historicized by Nicolau de Freitas, dated 1734.

The Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary, located in the Parish of Escudeiros, could be understood between the end of the 16th century and the whole of the seventeenth century, knowing that the interior is from the second half of the seventeenth century.

In the exterior it has very refined architectural lines, the interior is worth by the set of the property deserving special attention for being all lined with tiles from the 16th century. It is formed by nave and lower chapel. The façade has as its only features the portal of straight poles surmounted by a rectangular window to top with pyramidal pinnacles with spheres.

Visit the Chapel of São Sebastião - Cividade (Braga)

The São Sebastião Chapel, located in the parish of Cividade, in the city of Braga, was built by the Confraternity of São Sebastião in the 16th century. XV, but the present construction is of the century. XVIII.

It is a baroque temple, with an eighteenth-centric plan, in which the blue and white tiles are highlighted, with scenes from the life of St. Sebastian. The panel, dated 1717, is signed by the author, the potter António de Oliveira Bernardes.

In the interior, richly decorated in Baroque style, note the wooden ceiling, with representations of the objects of the martyrdom of St. Sebastian, and the neoclassical altarpieces of the lateral altars.

Only the cloister, the church and the chapter room remain at the present time. The cloister has the walls covered with quinine tiles, green and white with metallic reflections.

The Church of Our Lady of Pleasures, located in the Parish of Salvador (Beja), dates from 1672 and is composed of two distinct bodies. The simple façade does not denounce the artistic richness of its interior. Here is one of the most important repositories of sacred art in the city and a set of tiles with great beauty, made up of panels historicized in 1698 by the painter Gabriel del Barco. The body of the church is covered by baroque carving and 18th century tiles. This Church is classified as Property of Public Interest.

The Royal Palace is located in the National Forest of Buçaco, parish of Luso, municipality of Mealhada, district of Aveiro in Portugal.The building was designed in the last quarter of the 19th century by the Italian architect Luigi Manini, set designer of the National Theater of São Carlos. There were also interventions, in different phases, by the architects Nicola Bigaglia, Manuel Joaquim Norte Júnior and José Alexandre Soares. It has been classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1996.

The current building, in neomanuelino style, is decorated with panelsof tiles, frescos and paintings alluding to the Epic of the Portuguese Discoveries, all of them signed by some of the great masters of the arts. The structure displays profiles of the Tower of Bethlehem carved in stone of Ançã, motifs of the cloister of the Jeronimos Monastery, some arabesques and blooms of the Convent of Christ, claiming a flowery Gothic with romantic episodes in contrast to austere monastic severity.

Its interior highlights outstanding works of art by Portuguese masters of the time, from the collection of tile panels of master Jorge Colaço, evoking the Lusíadas, Gil Vicente's Autos and the Peninsular War, graceful sculptures by António Gonçalves and Costa Mota, paintings by João Vaz illustrating verses from the maritime epic of Luís Vaz de Camões, frescoes by António Ramalho and paintings by Carlos Reis. The furniture includes Portuguese, Indo-Portuguese and Chinese pieces, highlighted by majestic tapestries. Also noteworthy for the Moorish ceiling, the remarkable floor made with exotic woods and the royal gallery.
