The Lady-a-white Church, located in the Parish of St. Victor, dates back to the 14th century. But none of this remains, the earliest part was now made between 1505 and 1532. The Casa de Infias was built in the last quarter of the 17th century by João Borges Pereira Pacheco, a nobleman of the Royal House and Knight of the Order of Christ.

The plan of the house is closed by the arrangement of the noble gate, which, through the wall where it is inserted, joins the lateral wings, thus becoming the building inserted in a large rectangle that has a courtyard to the center. As usual at the time, the floors of the house were divided according to their specific functions. The ground floor housed the rooms for the services of the house, the noble floor housed the living space.

The chapel, located in one of the side wings, was integrated to the whole of the house in a harmonious way, not disturbing the symmetry of the building. The chapel is invoking Our Lady of Pilar.

It has been classified as Property of Public Interest since 1977.

What most distinguishes the chapel of Guadalupe, in addition to its privileged location, which stands at the top of a small elevation is its unusual architecture. Despite the centralized plant, like many other churches in Braga, its circular shape is unique in the city. This building denotes mastery both in the curvilinear forms of its exterior, as in the simplicity of the interior and in the execution of the main altarpiece designed in rococo style. The chapel of Guadalupe presents a centered plan, with main chapel and two lateral ones.
