Visit the Church of Our Lady of Salvation - Arruda dos Vinhos

The Church of Our Lady of Salvation, is located in the parish of Arruda dos Vinhos.

Visit the Fountain of Arruda dos Vinhos

The Fountain of Arruda dos Vinhos is three taps, and was rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, in 1789, replacing an ancient carved stone fountain. The original was built in the eighteenth century

The Church of St. John the Beheaded, located in the Town of Terrugem, have been built in the sixteenth century. Displays Manueline and Mannerist. Visit the Fountain of Armes - Terrugem

The fountain of Armes, located in the Town of Terrugem, is an example of civic architecture, public policy, that the Romans left many copies throughout the empire.
The fountain is located three meters below the current level of the ground, attached to the base of the south wall of a wide shaft of square section, now covered by a concrete slab and with a hand pump to draw water. A narrow staircase leads to the fountain. This consists of a rectangular box, formed by several slabs of marble with a broken back and ruptured. The sides and rear are higher in relation to the anterior wall, functioning as this parapet. The area outside the left wall has a chopped thick, broad and irregular, which seems to indicate that the slab was originally hidden.
The tank is supplied with water from a nearby spring through a pipeline that ends in an underground circular hole, opened near the right edge of the posterior wall of the tank, about 85 cm from the bottom.
One of the main interests of this fountain is an epigraph slab with 17 cm thick, that tops the deposit.

Visit the Parque da Pena - San Pedro de Penaferrim (Sintra)

The Pena Park located in the Parish of San Pedro de Penaferrim, in the Serra de Sintra is a walled compound, located on the summits of the area east of the Eastern Sierra, with high cliffs and sharp valleys, north exposure preferred. The maximum height of the park is at High Cross (the highest peak in the Sierra, with 528 meters) and the lower zone is the Feteira Countess, standing at 380 meters.
The park is composed of multiple plots, over its nearly 200 hectares, with different characteristics, served by a very widespread network of paths which constitute a real and deliberate maze. Inside, stand buildings of great beauty, like the Countess Chalet, the Temple of Columns, the Throne, the Palace and the Lakes.

Visit the Palacio da Pena - San Pedro de Penaferrim (Sintra)

The Pena National Palace, located in the historic town of Sintra, Parish of San Pedro de Penaferrim (Sintra), represents one of the best architectural expressions of Romanticism in nineteenth-century world. On July 7, 2007 he was elected as one of the seven wonders of Portugal, and indeed the first European romantic palace, built about 30 years before the charismatic Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria.
Almost all the Palace is built on huge rocks, and boasts a mix of styles (Gothic, neomanuelino, neo-Islamic, neo-Renaissance art with other suggestions such as India).

The building is very irregular and is conditioned by a preexisting building there - the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Pena - and by topography. The result is a roughly rectangular core, organized around a cloister and other elongated.
The facades are divided by bocéis or twisted and fenestrated, more or less regularly, and spans square, rectangular and round arch. The towers and ramparts have rings on top dog or arcatura forming sentry paths, gazebos and terraces. Since the square towers are circular turrets at the corners with conical roofs.
