The fountain of Armes, located in the Town of Terrugem, is an example of civic architecture, public policy, that the Romans left many copies throughout the empire.
The fountain is located three meters below the current level of the ground, attached to the base of the south wall of a wide shaft of square section, now covered by a concrete slab and with a hand pump to draw water. A narrow staircase leads to the fountain. This consists of a rectangular box, formed by several slabs of marble with a broken back and ruptured. The sides and rear are higher in relation to the anterior wall, functioning as this parapet. The area outside the left wall has a chopped thick, broad and irregular, which seems to indicate that the slab was originally hidden.
The tank is supplied with water from a nearby spring through a pipeline that ends in an underground circular hole, opened near the right edge of the posterior wall of the tank, about 85 cm from the bottom.
One of the main interests of this fountain is an epigraph slab with 17 cm thick, that tops the deposit.
