Visit the City Hall of Sintra - Sao Martinho (Sintra)

The City Hall of Sintra, located in the Parish of Saint Martin (Sintra), began to be built in 1906, second draft Adães Bermudez, and were completed in 1908. The building is austere facades with windows neo-Manueline soberly decorated. No primary elevation stands out for its grandeur, a tower topped by upper battlements, and a coverage pyramid covered with tiles, which alternately represent Christ's Cross and Shield Homeland. At the top there is a majestic armillary sphere. Flank this curious coverfour other smaller, capping 'sentry' which form the corners. In the same elevation, stands a desk, full of arches feature Manueline, surmounted by a pediment on which are inscribed the municipal arms.
Inside there is a magnificent cloister, whose upper floor balconies feature rich ornamentation and neo-Renaissance Manueline.
