Visit the Palace of Ribafria - Sao Martinho (Sintra)

The Palace of Ribafria, located in the Parish of St. Martin (Sintra), was built in the first half of the sixteenth century, and consists of three bodies arranged in a U.
In the austere facade are noticeable changes caused by various restoration works. Thus, evidence is beyond the Manueline windows, others have pombalino imprint. Access to the courtyard shall beby a gate surrounded by a simple beveled edges.
The domed atrium, have war heads that are based on a complex interplay of arches and ribs, born of different angles: this lobby is also decorated with a medieval theme eardrums, while the vault locks were designed to the renewed artistic conceptions of the time. We also emphasize the existence of two round arches, supported by pillars and Italian-capitals, and ornamented with scrolls and frowns.
Another court, also vaulted ribbed by warheads, giving access to stairs leading to the large loggia. In the loggia, Renaissance-style markedly, there is a fountain with a canopy, partially covered with a beautiful Mudejar tiles.
The Chapel is closed and emptied its entire contents.
