The Church of Mercy, located in the parish of São Pedro (Peniche), was built in the mid-sixteenth century and restored in 1796. This example of Mannerist architecture presents a facade of Pombal feature. Worth mentioning the eighteenth-century engravings and paintings on canvas, attributed to Josefa de Óbidos.
