Visit the Roman Bridge of Catribana - St. John of Lampas

The Roman Bridge Catribana on the Ribeira da Samarra lies in the parish of St. John the lamps.
This structure was part of an access to a main road or be a secondary route that linked two important Roman villas.
The bridge consists of a single arch and parapet, and has undergone several restorations and some change over the centuries.
On the south side of the bridge is still visible a stretch of Roman road into the structure, with about 50 meters in length, known as "Way of the Castle. "
