The Bridge of Arrabida is an arch bridge over the Douro River that connects the Parish of Saint Peter's Afurada (Vila Nova de Gaia) in Porto. This bridge, which opened in 1963, has four elevators in the towers of ornamental five feet tall, cast in bronze. Two of which side of Gaia, the sculptor Gustavo Bastos, representing "The Realm of Water Man"and "Men in his chance of Transposing Watercourses".
The board is composed of two-lane with 8 m each, separated by a whitish yellow raised via a 2 m wide, two lanes for cyclists of 1.70 m each, two rides raised footpaths 1.50 m wide.
