Visit the Chapel of St. Martin of Fandinhães - Pacos Coop

The Chapel of St. Martin of Fandinhães, located in the Parish of Pacos cage, it was built in the eighteenth century. Displays rectangular headboard covered with gable roof cornice framed based on motifs in dogs in curves, scrolls and flowers with four petals and human and animal-figurations. In the center of the side walls and crevices of logs later has dihedral. The current main facade, corresponding to the primitive connection to the ship, still retains all his time with his shot from the gable crowned by a cross. The old hole facing east, on the roof of the chancel is covered by tile panel with a polychrome statue of the Virgin. The triumphal arch, the arch of two archivolts based laterally decorated and placed in two columns to the left addorsed presenting a capital with a snake or a sea monster. The imposed exhibit interlace, spirals and circles connected snared. Inside the chapel, floor paved with footstool three steps across the whole width, having altar tile with the front edge of the Hispano-Arabic. On the back wall, and gilded altarpiece on a white background, arranged in three panels defined by columns and entablatures, each with an image of sculpture: the center of the Lady Livração to your left and right São Brás São Martinho. The inner cover is made of wood painted green, forming a vault arch.
