The palace served as residence for the Jesuits.
The main facade of the palace, the center has the coat of Correia da Silva, and faces the west and opens onto a square courtyard, called a riding school and has about 18 m. In every corner of the wall that delimits the courtyard there is an obelisk of four meters and the entrance gate there was a monumental, all worked. On the south side of the ring there is a very high wall overlooking the Royal Fountain and this wall on the side of the riding arena, there are four seats with side railings, which you can enjoy a magnificent panorama.
