The Church of Nossa Senhora da Alegria, located in the parish of Antanhol, is significantly altered during the twentieth century, with the replacement of the belfry by a tower. It consists of a nave, a narrow chancel, a sacristy, side chapels and a bell tower. Outside there is a lintel of the sacristy door and inside arches of the side chapels and side altarpieces.
