The Church of St. Peter, located in the Parish of Coruche, has a single nave and side walls covered with tiles of blue and yellow type 'standard' of the seventeenth century, as well as the gable and soffit of the arch of the cruise. The nave has a wooden roof and its walls are thin addorsed a pulpit of Renaissance balusters.
The altar is carved rough, and, center, in a niche, the image of the patron saint. The front of the altar has a magnificent tiled panel with the image of St. Peter surrounded by shrubs, flowers and birds, resembling tissue. The ceiling of the chancel, under the dome, is also beautifully decorated.
