The Church of St. Peter, located in the Town of Almargem the Bishop, was built in the second half of the sixteenth century, according to the order of the Archbishop of Lisbon, D. Miguel Castro. This temple is in a Mannerist style with three naves and inside we can highlight the carpet tiles of the eighteenth century. In addition to the patron Saint Peter, to worship, altars, images of Our Lady of Conception, Our Lady of Mercy, Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Anthony, St. Anthony and St. Michael.
