Visit the Church of Ansião

The mother church of Ansião date of 1593 and is surrounded by a churchyard, with the cobblestone floor has a wall with iron railings and a staircase leading to the main entrance.
Inside, the temple is broad, with three naves, divided among themselves by five arches in masonry which are based on Tuscan columns and the floor is wooden. The main chapel, separated from the nave by a round arch, has stone floors, a coffered dome with coverage in stone and altar dedicated to Our Lady of Conception, is contemporary.
At the top of each of the aisles for the altar, already late in gilt.
On the left side of the temple at the entrance, there is entered in a baptistery chapel arch altea, with seventeenth-century baptismal font. On the right, already beyond the sun door, said there are two chapels:
An arch with carved stonework and roof also of stone, decorated with a stone image of St. Anianus of the seventeenth century, in a niche beside the Cross, and another image of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. The Chapel of the early seventeenth century, was built by André Fernandes and wife are buried there.
In another chapel, beside, there is a bas-relief in the Renaissance stone representing a beautiful and valuable Calvary (sixteenth century)
