The column is surmounted by a body consisting of a truncated pyramid inverted octagonal base on which rests a cage topped by a second trunk of an octagonal pyramid, surmounted by a sphere.

Pelourinho Figueiró Granja is in the sixteenth century and the type Manueline.
It is an octagonal column of granite emerges from a pedestal of four stone steps thick, also octagonal sector. The shaft is 3 feet tall. On the stem, as ornament, a second body, being fitted to extend into diamond, which is tied by a rope with the shield Manueline the corners, also framed by a rope rebordante. Serving as the pinnacle is the armillary sphere.
