The Convent of Grace or Convent of Our Lady of Grace, located in the Parish of Castelo Branco, is currently the headquarters of the Holy House of Mercy of Castelo Branco.
In the Graça Convent was the grave of Simão da Costa, the father of Bartolomeu da Costa.
The current building was built next to the conventinho (the convent was the church of the convent) and is an example of the Chã Architecture, so characteristic of the end of the 16th century, which stands out the clear and robust structure of the cloister. Behind the main altar of the Church of Grace is the Fonseca Chapel, built by Diogo da Fonseca (one of four illustrious brothers of Castelo Branco) to serve as a mausoleum for his family.
