Visit Source Boavista - Sobrado

Quinta da Boavista, parish Sobrado, lies at the heart of a garden maze in the shape of the monumental fountain of Boavista. This source of Mannerist style is based on a large circular tank. Displays worked structure, divided into 3 parts with architectural moldings and frowns in the bulge.

Visit the Vegide Penedo (Pia Moorish) - Sobrado

The Penedo Vegide of Pia or Moorish, located in Curvite, along the old roads, Parish of Sobrado consists of 2 rectangular graves excavated in granite outcrop itself in a relatively prominent in the landscape. Of separate dimensions, both graves have an area especially fondly to support the head of the buried, as well as transverse grooves, the latter located in their bases, especially in the largest grave.

Visit Marmorial the manor (or Boavista)

The Marmorial Sobrado, was classified as a national monument in 1950. Also known by marmorial Boavista. has a type different from others by not presenting arc. Formed by two headlands with vertical engraved crosses within which lie 2 horizontal slabs. The top is rectangular and the bottom, corresponding to a tomb cover, has a convex shape on the surface.
At the bottom slab were recorded a long sword and a Greek cross inscribed in a circle. The external sides of both slabs were recorded swords.
What Marmoiral of Sobrado has been dated to the mid-thirteenth century.
According to legend is related to D. Mafalda, daughter of D. Sancho I. Referred to as the staging point in transferring his body to the Monastery of Arouca, where the princess was buried.

Visit the Church of Our Lady of the Assunção in Sobrado

The parish church of Sobrado, also known as Our Lady of the Assunção, in sobrado, has a baroque and rococo architecture of longitudinal shape, with nave, chancel and vestry.
The bell tower has an independent structure of the body of the Church.
