Visit the Chapel of Santo Amaro - Assafarge

Features features of eclectic, mannerist and revivalist architecture. It was rebuilt in the eighteenth century and modified in the twentieth century. Visit the Quinta do Regalo House - Antuzede

The Quinta do Regalo House, located in the parish of Antuzede, is from the 19th century. XVI - XVII and is built in L-shape. The house belonged to the Coutinhos de Coimbra, grantees of the Bay. The house has a small outer chapel and its interior consists of a single nave and a simple arch serves as the main chapel. By the road there is still a 16th century fountain.

Visit the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy - Antuzede

The Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy, located in the parish of Antuzede, was erected in the highest part of the village, its interior has a rare sculptural ensemble, dating from the seventeenth century. This one shows us a Descent from the Cross, appearing the dead Christ, surrounded by the Virgin, his mother, and by Roman soldiers who help him down. The group has seen recent restoration work of its polychrome.

Visit the Coimbra Major Seminary Building - Almedina (Coimbra)

The Coimbra Major Seminary Building, located in the Parish of Almedina, is a sui generis building given its Italian architecture and featuring several spaces that are worth a close visit.
Noteworthy is the Sagrada Familia church, with its dome, considered one of the most beautiful in the country; the reliquary chapel of S. Miguel; the Old Library, with more than 9,000 books from 1507 to 1800; the episcopal chambers; the tile room; and the Mondego Balcony, which has a magnificent view over the city. Noteworthy is a woodcut by Monsignor Nunes Pereira, a canvas by the famous painter Grão Vasco and the 18th century pipe organ, built in 1762 by João Fontana de Maquera, which falls under the category of “Iberian organs” and which has 1500 tubes.

Visit the Chapel of St. Peter - Almalaguês

The Chapel of St. Peter, located in the Parish of Almalaguês, was built in the early 18th century, today in an advanced state of degradation, the Chapel of St. Peter is an example of regional baroque architecture.
It has only one nave, with wooden ceiling, and has three altarpieces. Mention should be made of the quality of the façade's outline and, in the interior, the 17th-century stone altarpiece and various sculptures from the 15th and 16th centuries.

Visit the Chapel of Our Lady of Joy - Almalaguês

The Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Alegria, located in the Parish of Almalaguês, has a longitudinal plan, consisting of a nave, a chancel and a sacristy attached to the left side. It was built in 1634, featuring features of mannerist and baroque architecture. Inside, highlight to some eighteenth century tiles that line the walls of the chancel, depicting scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary.

The Chapel of the Holy Spirit, located in the parish of Tinalhas, is presumed to have been erected in the 16th century, is of Romanesque style, and was restored in 1882. It has now been adapted for the Mortuary Chapel.
