Visit the Grotto of Santa Margarida da Lapa - São Lourenço (Setúbal)

The Gruta da Lapa de Santa Margarida is situated at the foot of the Capuchin Convent, the parish of São Lourenço (Setúbal), by the sea, where it arrives by boat or by land by a road built there. This cave is a very unusual place visited today, where a chapel built there in a degraded state in the seventeenth century. There were 3 images (N ª Sr ª da Conceição, Santo António and St Margarida).
The cave is about 22 meters long but how you connect with other shares in some smaller pieces, measures 40 meters in total.

Visit the Caves of Olelo - Almargem Bishop

The caves of Olelo, located in the Town of Bishop's Almargem are at a distance of 2 m from each otherand advance with in the rock in different directions,one to the west and one for spring.
One cave has a depth of 11 m in the direction approximately Northeast-Southwest, 2.5 m wide average, 1.70 m in height and 2 m in the mouth in the middle. It also has a small cave of a man impossibleto access by its smaller size.
The second cave is a little larger but irregular, has aporch 4 feet long and 2 meters wide and just as high,ending at the South by a camera too low.

Visit the Grotto Furninha - San Pedro (Peniche)

The Furninha Cave, located in the Parish of San Pedro (Peniche), corresponds to a natural cavity, since it is the most important pre-historical county.
It is located beside the sea, this cave formed in limestone of the Lower Jurassic, was occupied between the Middle Paleolithic to the end of the Chalcolithic and was excavated in 1880 by Nery Delgado, one of the great pioneers of geology and archeology Portuguese.
Used for shelter and burial ground, this season prehistoric provided an extensive archaeological, where highlight the varied fauna of the Quaternary that lived there then (like hyenas, deer, boars, bears, etc..) and the findings of human remains, as stone and bone tools (bifaces, arrow heads, polished stone axes).
