The Church of Moncarapacho has a portal, where you draw the Roman and Gothic elements, and is considered one of the mostbeautiful in the Renaissance style in the Algarve (sixteenth century).Richly decorated in stone, is topped by a set of beautiful sculptures representing the Annunciation, and images of the apostles St.Peter and St. Paul.
Inside, stand out for its rich decoration, the paintings that decoratethe chapels of the Souls of Calvary and St. Anthony. In the set ofimages of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, deservespecial reference to Our Lady of the Rosary, and Patience of the Lord of the Child Jesus, the altarpiece of the Lord of Passos.
