Guadramil is a typical Transmontana village located in the parish of Rio de Onor.
It is a communal village in the Natural Park of Montesinho, which maintains the houses of typical moth and a dialect almost extinct called Guadramilês.
It borders two Spanish villages, Riomanzanas and Santa Cruz de Los Cuerragos and with three Portuguese villages: Rio de Onor, Deilão and Petisqueira.
The relief is quite uneven. Wildlife consists mainly of corsos, wild boars, foxes, rabbits, hares, wolves, partridges, blackbirds, starlings, goldfinches, lizards and snakes.
This village was for many years a communal village, where its inhabitants divided the mill, the forge, the herd and some agricultural tasks. At present, it is inhabited by about thirty people
