The Church of Our Lady of Conception, located in the Town of Batagram, began construction on May 10, 1694 and wascompleted April 9, 1698.
It is a church of Mannerist and Baroque. Mannerist features are visible on the combination of masses and volumes and dynamic baroque is bestowed upon him by the pediment of the gable and the play of contrasts of materials used in exterior and interior decorative program.
The church is composed of a nave, chancel, vestries two atrium, two towers of square plan protruding from both sides of the main facade and a large porch that surrounds the ship, all spaces are covered by vaults edge, except the ship that has a barrel vault.
The ship can see the choir, supported by two columns of painted wood, imitation marble, two pulpits, with a marble base, two holy water fonts, also of marble, carved shell shaped, with two side altars and altarpieces polychrome wood carvings. A perfect triumphant arch opens to the chancel. It is lighted by eleven large windows and a rosette. There are five windows.
The chancel is entirely lined with marble, but two medallions in mural painting, inlaid with pink, white, yellow, red and black, drawing motifs, displays beauty and magnificence. The image of the patronis within a canopy and gilded glass.
In the sacristy there is a pretty fine chest south of ebony, which covers the entire wall, and a hanger with a sink and source, all in marble.
