The Pedestrian Route of Gardunha, begins at the entrance of Louriçal do Campo at 470 meters of altitude. It passes through the Mother Church of São Bento, and follows, through gardens and olive groves, towards the flanks of the mountain range.
The pebble between loose stone walls leads to the intersection of a pine forest. It hits the path to the top of the mountain, which passes by the top of the Jesuit cross, winding through the chaos of balls. The vegetation diversifies with the presence of great cork oaks and black-oak stains.
The longest variant rises in the direction of the Baldeira, passing through a park of snacks and by means of climbing routes equipped.
At the intersection of Castelo Novo, one of the most famous viewpoints of Gardunha, with an immense view over the amphitheater of Castelo Novo.
Further on, it is the kingdom of granite forms, true geological monuments, on top of the Old Castle at 1443 meters. From here, the path descends in the direction of Casal da Serra, crossing numerous springs and water catchments. Next to the Municipal Services, a trail leads to the magnificent Ocreza gorge, where stone ledges allow access to hidden natural pools of crystal clear waters separated by beautiful waterfalls and 18 hidden waterfalls amidst the exuberant diversity of the riparian flora.
