The river Ocreza rises in the Serra da Gardunha at 1160 meters of altitude, crosses some Parishes of the Municipality of Castelo Branco, until arriving at the river Tagus, among which the one of Louriçal of the Field. In this Parish the Albufeira de Santa Águeda or Marateca decisively marks the landscape.
