The Fountain D. John V located in the Town of Alpedrinha was built, possibly in 1714, sits at the top of the village, just below the Palace of the riding school, the Fountain in the square. It is all in granite, and has a bulwark with three faces, each with its spout, spouting water into a tank together. Above the rampart is a crown which covers the actual weapons.
Access to these pipes is done by two entries with stone steps that will give an atrium with benches on both sides.
