This beach is lined with huge trees, basically consisting of alder, poplar and small broom that give enough color in the middle of spring.

Visit the Peace Tower - Benfeita
The Peace Tower, located in the Village of Benfeita, rings bells in 1620 (which lasted for days the 2nd World War) every year on May 7 - the day lasting peace in Portugal during the conflict.It was probably one of the first places in the country to know the news of the war's end.
Immediately, the church bells rang, as happens every year since.
This tower has a clock that is a fine example of old mechanical watches.

The beach of Benfeita river, is located in the village of Shale Benfeita in the place where the rivers join Forest and Carcavão.This river is fit for the practice of bathing activity. It consists of a dam that created at the bottom, a "mirror pool", and whose banks are composed of a sand that allows bathers to stay near the water.
