The Ribeira do Tripeiro, located in the parish of Salgueiro do Campo, which serves as its western boundary, has a small flow rate in summer, sometimes drying up, except in the deeper places called “pegos”. It crosses a shale zone that makes its banks very fragile, narrow and little wooded. It flows into the Ocreza River.
