Lajes das Flores is a county located in the southwestern half of the island of Flores, in the Western Group of the Azores, created in 1515, which has an area of 69.59 km ². It is bordered to the northeast by the municipality of Santa Cruz das Flores, surrounded by all other sides by the Atlantic Ocean. The County is the home of Lajes das Flores, on the south coast of the island and home to the commercial port that serves. It is divided into seven parishes: Faja Grande, Fajãzinha, Farm, Pavement, Lajes das Flores, Lomba and Monastery.
