Visit Mines Pejão in Pedorido

Mines Pejão (Germunde) started business in 1886 having been shut down after 108 years by decision of the Government. Galleries were open 50 by 50 meters and up to 500 long these galleries were estoucadas with eucalyptus logs only recently steel. In these galleries were opening tunnels, which were called biased, through being, where the coal was extracted. These mines had two entries.
